Us thinking people know many of his past statements aren’t jiving with what he’s saying now so we are very skeptical.

Of what? Is he going to spring Cuban healthcare on us once he's safely in office?

The man is a world class negotiator! Don't "thinking people" recognize the value of bargaining position, holding out hope of compromise to ones opposition, or the sanctity in which he holds the terms of a deal, once made?

Anything he's said in the past is irrelevant to what he's running on now. What he's saying now are the "terms of the deal" he's making with the American people.

It seems obvious to me many of FreeRepublic's self-professed "critical thinkers" need to put quite a bit more emphasis on the "thinking," and throttle way back on the "critical."
