The highly influential Center for American Progress, which has deep ties to the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton, recently released an extensive report calling for the nation’s lead agency on gun regulation to be merged into the FBI.

The generalities of the center’s 182-page report were widely covered by media upon its release last May. However, the details in the report were largely unmentioned, including by conservative media agencies.

January 21017 is the beginning of the longest national nightmare in US history. President Shrillary and her progressive munchkins will rule our world. It will be an autocrat paradise and a crime scene 24/7.

I think your being a little dishonest here. Trump was saying the same things back in the 80s, 90s, 00s that he is saying now. Sure if you cherry pick through the massive amount of media Trump has done over the last 40 years, you can find things to criticize him on. But I would recommend that you look at the whole picture, then look at what he has actually done vs what he has said. I’m betting you have said things in the past that would not fit your definition of conservative. Do those moments define you?

Whatever I may have said in my life defines who I am today for good AND for bad. That is true for us all. Because we said what we said. It does not ever go away and that is doubly so for a pol.

Ted has a voting record. We can define action by him on it. Good and bad. Trump does not. So we have to take the sum total of his positions and judge him on it. Good and bad.

What’s the point of having them if you aren’t going to use them when they come for them?

Please how that screw up magically erases his lifetime record.

That is his record. And I would suggest to you that the iran deal and TPA are going to be in the top five most painful things to happen to this country during obomba's rule. And that is saying something when you look at all the horrific things obumber has done to this country. Cruz enabled that.

My point exactly.

Compromise only goes one way, and that is the way of the Hegelian dialectic, the means that marxists use to get their way incrementally.

All by himself? Dam that boy has power.

I guess being the only guy willing to fight his leadership over killing American babies, fighting his party leadership to stop them from sending terrorists weapons to kill American soldiers and all the other things he has done just disappear. Because the one thing that pisses you off, and yes, pisses me off, erases it.

All.

I am however not stupid enough to let emotion override fact in a presidential election.

Cruz fought Obamacare which is far more damaging than TPP as it hits now and every day it exists, and has for a few years now, not some magic future TPP would have to spend tens of trillions to equal.

Cruz fought to maintain Marriage and not empower homos. He did not put them in beauty pageants and Homos are destroying a hell of a lot in case you missed it.

I could go on but you know all his actions. Toy just compartmentalized them away where you need not honestly evaluate them against your candidate.

We can ‘hope’ for the best - and pray next year’s s-’election’ is as close to legitimate as we can get in this…. fascist Ameritocracy.

But we best be thinking and prepping for what will be necessary to survive what the ideology now ruling us always does to their subjects.

Because tyranny is not stopped via civil means.

Somehow, the vast majority thinks voting is our salvation and a remedy to despotism.

Next year will reveal how futile the ballot box really is. The question is whether or not this people are going to lie to themselves in even grander fashion by refusing to acknowledge what is self-evident to any thinking person: that their country has been overthrown from within.

All the herd animal mentality types need do is read history and they need to go back no further than Bosnia to see America’s immediate future.

They may wish to concentrate their efforts on that a once growing and increasingly modernized nation whose people said ‘It cannot happen here” and then did.

Or Venezuela. Or Argentina.

The rank and file, no doubt. They are herd animals and behave accordingly. But I am very sure the leadership does and thats why they want to get rid of it. It was intended to protect America against them.

Maxine Waters said that Barack Obama was building the Democrats a comprehensive database on citizens/voters.

She wasn’t joking.

WATERS: Well, you know, I don’t know, and I think some people are missing something here. The president has put in place an organization that contains the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. That’s going to be very, very powerful. That database will have information about everything, on every individual, in ways that it’s never been done before.

Just forwarding developments.
Truth is, whenever a firearm’s been purchased with a form, it’s registered.
The no-gun-owner-records-retained line, is a lie.
All paper forms from decades ago are being digitized.

Well suppose you were not on any database, then suppose a liberal relative turned you in. Say it was an In-Law and even did it anonymously. And you don't own a boat.

It is like preppers hoarding gold but the government makes it illegal again. Lotta good that would have been too.

This may portend nothing good in our future but somebody may eventually realize old patriots might have nothing more to lose.
