When I went to post a comment I was redirected to a presumed Firefox warning page that Free Republic was a reported malware/phishing site. The below second warning message indicates that Google's blacklist was invoked. I don't know if this is a malware warning generated on my computer or a real issue that Free Republic should be quickly investigating. I'll post the link here for investigative purposes, DO NOT click on this link.

Wait! Please don't visit that site right now!
Google detected badware on the site you were visiting. Firefox uses Google's blacklist to warn you about "Reported attack sites." We understand that you may know and trust this site, but it's possible for good sites to be infected with badware without the site owners' knowledge or permission.
I just got that warning when I tried to post on another thread.
It can't be coincidental that Google Analytics is a perfect anagram of "CIA ogles golanty". Now all we have to figure out is what "golanty" means...
That’s weird, I got the red screen warning after hitting the post button for post #40 - clicked out of the tab - the post is here...funky.
Have you seen the thread about not clicking on the “frozen lion” thread because this very warning is turning up for many people when they do? I saw that thread, which is why I searched on Google for “lion cubs” “free republic.”
It must be Jim Thompsons CIA “code name”.
Warning visiting this web site may harm your computer!

That’s the exact same screen I got using Safari to search for an old thread. There wasn’t a way to “Or you can continue to..” without copy and pasting the link. Major hassle.
I got the same warning. I’m using a mac with (don’t laugh) Snow Leopard and Safari.

Chrome is working OK now - no red malware screen after clicking multiple threads.
I got the warning on a windows box with firefox at work, my linux box running firefox at home gives no such warning.
New Update for Chrome...
1. Clicking thread title - all is OK (albeit slow)
2. Clicking any specific post # just below the title gets the red malware error.
had this problem using google chrome on my laptop but no issues on my phone. Using aol no problems
Using google chrome on my Android phone.

Put Neidermeyer on it. He’s a sneaky little sh*t.
Neidermeyer - dead!
Not fixed yet... I’m still getting this on Safari from an iPad
