Do you know anything about the Order of Melchizedek? Can you point me in a direction to find out about it? That has always made me curious, like he’s in a line of Priests of that order - like there are others perhaps like Jesus.
Always been fascinated by that. Any clue would help.

Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. ...
Mark 2:23-28
One Sabbath he was going through the grain fields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. And the Pharisees were saying to him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God, in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those who were with him?” And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
Before David was King of Israel and he and his men ate the Show Bread (Bread of the Presence) of which only the priests could eat.

Thus Melchizedek was both a KING and a PRIEST. Jesus will reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, being our Perfect Priest standing before God as our Intercessor. None comes before God except through Him.................
