Is the temple Mount Jewish? Yes. Should an Israeli flag fly over the Temple Mount? Absolutely. Do Muslims have a legitimate historical claim to Jerusalem? No, Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Koran. The Bible Prophet Isaiah foretold a day when the Temple would be rebuilt on the Temple Mount, but to the chagrin of God. Why would the God of Israel be upset at building a temple dedicated to Him? Apparently, because those building the Temple have no regard for His Word and the one He sent to to be their final "sacrifice for sin" (Isaiah 53). But the Bible says that a group of Jews will understand and will look to Him. He will come to them and deliver them from persecution...

Isaiah 66: 1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool * : where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made , and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look , even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word... 5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said , Let the LORD be glorified : but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed . 6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

said in an interview on the Knesset Channel that her "dream is to see the Israel flag flying over the Temple Mount. This is the holiest place for the Jewish people."

How is this controversial? It IS the holiest place for Jews and bears ZERO holiness for Muslims. And the Israeli flag DID fly over it in 1967 after the IDF retook the site from Jordanian troops...that is, until the traitorous douchebag Moshe Dayan (may his name and memory be erased) GAVE IT BACK to the Islamonazis.
