I grew up with a mother druggie who always excused her druggie symptoms by saying she was either diabetic or hypoglycemic. It is what they all say. She spent time in a mental hospital for her drug addiction. She went into mental health treatment repeatedly. The love for drugs trumped everything else and she would always return to it.
Even my aunt (her sister) bought the diabetic excuse long after she should have known better. I remember being on the phone with her and saying, well if it is diabetes then diabetes looks exactly like a drug overdose.
I don’t buy it with this young lady at all. She has the exact same look my mother always had.
BTW, my mother was NOT diabetic. She consumed sugar all the time and there was no effect UNLESS she downed some pills with that sugary drink.
It’s why I said up-thread, the toxicology report should prove most interesting.
