Even BEFORE the liberal justices ruled in favor of eminent domain, Trump tried to take a woman’s property away from her for a parking lot next to his Atlantic City property.
P.S. How’s Atlantic City doing these days? :)
P.S. Hows Atlantic City doing these days? :)”
Shhh...
Don't tell the Trumpamaniacs that. They'll tell you he's our only hope and any positions, statements, or causes and candidates he's donated to in the past don't matter now. You must believe what he's telling you now. You know, now when he needs your vote...LOL.
But evidently, he's “evolved” on those issues as one freeper told me.
There are things in Trumps ‘platform’ that I’m opposed to, his opinion of what ‘eminent domain’ should consist of is one of those things.
However, his opinions and promises on many other things bring this all important issue of eminent domain into proper focus.
How important is eminent domain if the entire country is overrun and we are outvoted by illegals? Do you think we will care a wit about eminent domain? Do you think the illegal voters will?
How important is eminent domain if we have a president who doesn’t openly and loudly, even arrogantly, proclaim the importance of our God given Second Amendment? Will it matter at all if we get to keep those properties we should rightfully keep, but we are unable to physically defend ourselves while living there?
How important is eminent domain if our jobs keep being stolen from us by foreign governments? As important and sacred private property is, and it shouldn’t be allowed to be stolen from us by any government, isn’t it far more important that our ability to earn a good livelihood be defended from being stolen?
I could continue, but I think I’ve conveyed my thoughts on Trumps overall position on things important to most Americans.
My next post to you is on why Trump is running.
I think you might find it interesting.
Oh, forgot your question about Atlantic City. The answer is important, as it gives insight into Trumps ability to spot trends.
The answer is very short.
Trump, for the most part, left Atlanta City before the decline.
As someone about Trumps age, I find it easy to believe his explanation as to why he’s running.
I’ve agonized over the America we are leaving for my own children and grandchildren to live in and raise their families in. Most Freepers here probably feel the same way.
America hardly resembles the one I grew up in. It’s but a shadow of its former self, with freedoms, successes, and with respect from our friends, and fear of us by our enemies, all but non-existent.
Trump said he was running so that his family wouldn’t look at him, knowing he could have fixed it, but didn’t.
His own story of building the Trump Organization shows that he knows how to build great empires. Now he wants to make all of America great again.
I think we are but the lucky side beneficiaries.
