A month ago Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) warned conservatives about rumors of John Boehner’s Final Cave. Watch it below:
“If it is correct that the Speaker, before he resigns, has cut a deal with Nancy Pelosi to fund the Obama Administration for the rest of its tenure, to fund Obamacare, to fund executive amnesty, to fund Planned Parenthood, to fund implementation of its Iran deal. And then presumably to land at a cushy K-Street job…” – Ted Cruz
If new reports out of Washington are right, Cruz was correct almost a month ago to the day, and Boehner is set for one final cave to the Obama Administration.
The Associated Press has the story:
Speaker John Boehner is trying to make one last deal as he heads for the exits, pushing to finalize a far-reaching, two-year budget agreement before handing Congress' top job over to Paul Ryan this week, congressional officials said Monday.
The deal, in concert with a must-pass increase in the federal borrowing limit, would solve the thorniest issues awaiting Ryan, who is set to be elected speaker on Thursday. It would also take budget showdowns and government shutdown fights off the table until after the 2016 presidential election, a potential boon to Republican candidates who might otherwise face uncomfortable questions about messes in the GOP-led Congress.
The only thing left is to see how fast Boehner ends up on K Street with Eric Cantor.

They would like nothing better than to take that issue off the table and get rid of Trump.
Obama hasn’t signed a single appropriations bill since he was sworn in. Continuing resolution after continuing resolution. Mission accomplished...the checks and balances of republican government thwarted. The legislative powers moved to the presidency. Well planned by Obama, Schumer, Reid & co. with their willing accomplices, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

And they’ve just discharged the EX-IM reauthorization with a 246 - 177 vote. (62 Rs voting aye).
Assume it will pass shortly on a like vote tally.

Another example of the elected elite, once again, abrogating their Constitutional obligations; selling us down the river with an agreement that lets the scum in the white hut skate to the end his term without being held to account for his profligacy, his socialism, or his destruction of the greatest society ever to exist upon the Earth.

Obviously the man got his marching orders from the Chamber of Crooks and Crony Capitalists.

Actually, the best thing that could happen would be a two year budget and debt ceiling deal. This would keep certain elements in Congress from closing down the government and losing the next presidential election.
