The process of deporting is clearly implied to all illegal aliens’
There are 3 ways that a person can be an illegal alien.
1. Cross the border illegally.
2. Expired Visa (overstays)
3. Anchor baby.
Trump’s approach to the first two is to detain them with criminal charges. The last item is dealt with by revoking their false citizenship thereby rendering them illegally present and by stopping all future birthright citizenship.
The operative parts from the Trump position paper that apply to the 3 items above are:
Individuals who refuse to leave at the time their visa expires should be subject to criminal penalties; this will also help give local jurisdictions the power to hold visa overstays until federal authorities arrive.
“All criminal aliens must be returned to their home countries, a process which can be aided by canceling any visas to foreign countries which will not accept their own criminals, and making it a separate and additional crime to commit an offense while here illegally.”
“Illegal aliens apprehended crossing the border must be detained until they are sent home, no more catch-and-release.”
“End birthright citizenship.”
The problem with deporting current immigrants is that there is right now de facto Amnesty occurring by our government not taking active measures to remove them. The Courts will look very negatively on any measure that would deport anyone who arrived before the measure was enacted. We can, however, do these steps.
1. End all chain migration
2. End H1B visas
3. Prohibit all those who are here without documentation from working, voting, and collecting welfare benefits, to the extent that the Court would allow. Those who are working can be permanently banned from voting or collecting benefits.
4. Deport all criminal aliens for felonies and major misdemeanors.
5. End the practice of anchor babies. Either the illegal leaves and we keep the kid and it gets US citizenship, or they leave with the kid, without the kid getting US citizenship. Either way, the family not born here gets kicked out if they are a new arrival.
“parents and children will not be split apart”
There is no law that says the parents and children have to be split apart. If a parent is deported, it is their choie whether they take their children with them or not. The children are free to go with their parent, if the parent wishes.
The immigration law does not split them apart, it is the parent’s choice.
And what kind of parent leaves their children behind.

As for the quoted section, the notion of Trump needing to comport himself as some kind of "one man band" spectacle is shallow and cynical in the extreme.
Trump will continue to command the news cycle so long as the powers that be insist on Mau-Mauing his message. He need do nothing but stay his course for "Lady MacBeth" to be driven to distraction.
