A conservative political activist is praising a Republican congressman for his grilling of Hillary Clinton over the 2012 Benghazi attack.
Cathie Adams of Texas Eagle Forum says she was grateful that Rep. Trey Gowdy and others on the investigative committee were "asking good questions and expecting straight answers."
A former longtime prosecutor, Gowdy was expected to be tough on Clinton as he challenged her role in the lack of security before the attacks and the cover-up of their cause days and weeks later.
But it was a second GOP congressman, Rep. Jim Jordan, who dropped the "bombshell" on Clinton, National Review Online reported. That's because Jordan read from emails written by Clinton that showed she knew almost immediately that a terrorist group had attacked the Benghazi compound, not a group of protesters angry about a Youtube video.

To me, the bombshell was the revelation that Amb. Stevens sent 600 (SIX HUNDRED) requests for added security up the chain and Hillary never saw any of them. She considered it beneath her station to bother herself to review such matters.
If she’d been in the military, she’d have been court martialed by now.
I knew that there had been requests, but I never knew about 600.
Jim Jordan for speaker!
For sure. They both did well against the witch.
Off topic, but anyone else disturbed at Hillary’s behavior at the hearing???
She delivered a classic full blown Hillary cackle at a question about where she was on the night of the attack, did she go home, and was she alone all night.
And at other times, she was leaning her head on her hands, slumped down, with body language to the effect that she didn’t take these proceedings seriously.
I think that Cathy (?) Brooks of Indiana presented a powerful visual to support her case that Hillary was disconnected from what was going on in Libya in 2012, in contrast to her interest in 2011.
Our ambassador didn’t have her email but Sydney Blumenthal did?
Don’t mess with an NCAA champ wrestler. Jordan also holds a wrestling victory over two time Olympic Gold Medalist, John Smith.
It’s a trick to give her time to think up a lie, or to distract the audience from the fact that she is unwilling to answer the question.
I wanted to slap her up both sides of her smug little face. Then she’d drop the bored look and lapse into her actress mode, open her eyes wide, look straight at the Congressmen and say how hard she’d worked and worried about Benghazi.
Phony, phony, phony. We all know that her more honest response was to Sen. Ron Johnson in 2013, “What difference does it make?”
“To me, the bombshell was the revelation that Amb. Stevens sent 600 (SIX HUNDRED) requests for added security up the chain and Hillary never saw any of them”
No doubt Hillary is a bold faced liar. As Secretary of State she sure as hell knew about the pleas for help as well as the incompetent CIC. The blood of these American heroes are on the hands of Obama and Hillary.
That’s right. Jim Jordan made that point loud and clear. She said that was because Amb. Stevens (her good friend) never asked for it. Then, she went on to blame him for the attack.
I hated the way she glad handed, grinned, high fived and laughed with people on her way out.
Whoever came up with Pig In A Pantsuit didn’t go far enough.
Demon in Drag.
US State Department advisory:
Make particular note of the e-mail address at the end.
Libya Travel Update (February 24, 2011)
February 24, 2011
The Department of State warns U.S. citizens against travel to Libya and recommends that those U.S. citizens in Libya depart, due to the potential for ongoing unrest. Violent clashes between protesters and security forces continue throughout Libya, including in Tripoli. Spontaneous demonstrations, violence, and looting are possible throughout the next several days. The Department of State has ordered all Embassy family members and non-emergency personnel to depart Libya. U.S. citizens who remain in Libya despite this Travel Warning should minimize overall travel in-country, exercise extreme caution when traveling, and limit all travel after dark. This Travel Warning supersedes the Travel Warning dated February 21, 2011.
U.S. citizens should exercise extreme caution, avoid areas where demonstrations are likely to occur such as government offices and public squares, and leave an area immediately if a demonstration begins. Demonstrations have degenerated on several occasions into violent clashes between security forces and protesters, resulting in injuries and deaths. The U.S. Department of State strongly urges U.S. citizens to avoid all demonstrations, as even peaceful ones can quickly become unruly and a foreigner could become a target of harassment, or worse. While demonstrations have not been directed toward Westerners, U.S. citizens are urged to remain alert to local security developments and to be vigilant regarding their personal security. U.S. citizens should take the appropriate steps to bolster their personal security. Again, there is no indication that Westerners are being threatened or targeted at this time.
Unannounced security checkpoints and road and airport closures may occur throughout Libya, changing traffic patterns and flight availability without notice. Due to ongoing internet and telephone service interruptions in Libya, U.S. citizens who require assistance in departing Libya should contact the U.S. State Department at 1-202-501-4444 or via email at LibyaEmergencyUSC@state.gov.
Gowdy is the quarterback, Jordan is the full back
what’s his name, the bald headed one, is the water boy

I confess that I laughed at that question as well.
Given the Clinton’s history, the question did come across as asking ‘who did you boff that night’.
You can't call him that...that's racis!
