Some of the survivors want to continue in service and want their identities kept secret. Brett Bair had some of them (from the same team as the 2 who were killed — Daugherty and Woods — and who rescued another tem member who was nearly fatally injured (and still in recovery) while being injured themselves. I hope they re-run that report on Fox. It was a good one, and the 4 team members who survived defending the annex were excellent spokespersons for the Seals and the Rangers. They all said that they’d do it again in a minute and fully believe that if they had been allowed to go in sooner that Amb. Stevens would still be alive. (They found his body.)
Yes. I watched nearly the whole thing and I missed the original reference to 600 requests. I thought that the committee should have emphasized that more. I didn’t pick up that factoid until it was repeated on Fox & Friends the next day. They also muddied a little bit that the huge stack of emails were under a different Ambassador. They could have hit that point harder, IMO. It makes me wonder why Hillary changed Ambassadors. Did the old one beg for a transfer? I don’t believe we’ve heard from him.
Stevens expressed nervousness about the post before he ever went to Libya. I beliiieve he knew about the dangers in advances. It is unconsionable that Hillary never spoke to her “good frind” again after she swore him in!
She should be hung from the nearest yardarm!
