That reminds me of when we made an Antarctica-themed cake for a church potluck dinner, because Antarctica is a desert. It had small plastic penguins on it, and a blue-sugar glacier.
Orthodox laity, Orthodox clergy, and Orthodox monks (even hermits, and “fools for Christ”) are all normal Orthodox Christians, with different vocations. Of course, not all outsiders agree.
The ones who liberals and New World Order supporters call “Orthodox extremists” are people like Jim Jatras.
