"Now the state may have to relearn……."

As long as "the state" is the only one that suffers the fallout, but many of these convicts won't stay in Cal.

“Their is a disconnect in their minds. They see the causes as being from not enough of their policies and ideas.”

Exactly! Same disease in every liberal bastion: Chicago’s and NYC’s crime problem is caused by the tidal wave of illegal guns that come into the cities, so guns need to be banned everywhere in order for the cities to get control of their own problems.

It is ALWAYS the course for the progressives to take blaming the failure of progressive policy on the existence of anything different anywhere. The ultimate One World government will solve ALL problems as there will be no place where their policies are not enforced.

It was just last year that the pundits were crowing, and all the talking points were trickling down to the foot-morons on every posting site that Gov. Moonbeam had “saved” California, the financial crisis was over, and liberalism reigned supreme.

Not hearing much of that in 2015.

I think Hanson is the greatest living American historian. Maybe the greatest ever.

But he is sounding like a broken record on California. There is no saving it. I understand his family roots that make it hard for him to leave. But he needs to leave or change the subject in my opinion.

Funny!

I went for nearly a year with no internet connection that was fast enough to load any site except FR. I only had a very weak and intermediate AT&T connection. I moved my shop to a different location and now have a decent service. I’ll be back! I have a zillion pictures to post.

What’s your screen name on GD.com?

FTA: "Yet because of inept governance,..."

Sorry Mr. Hansen, nothing "inept" about it...it's all idealogical...they're doing quite well, thank you.

I read where someone said that they could condense the democratic “debate” into one sentence and that was, “Big government is not working so we need BIGGER government.” That seems to be the thought process of the average liberal. If what you are doing is not working you just need to do MORE of it. In other words if you find yourself at the bottom of a hole, keep digging.

I used to think they were stupid. Many of them are, but not all. They aren't stupid, they just make a lot of money and wield a lot of power off of "big government."

They are in favor of it not because they think it is the solution to the country's problems, but because it empowers them and their cronies. It makes them wealthier and more influential.

Their positions in support of big government are about them, not about what is best for the nation.

And now I think the Republican Party is also heavily infected with that same disease.

That seems to be the thought process of the average liberal. If what you are doing is not working you just need to do MORE of it. In other words if you find yourself at the bottom of a hole, keep digging.

That concept applies to their stupid followers. The Democrat party is basically a constituency of stupid led by a leadership of greed and evil. The leadership supports big government because it gives them money and power. Their followers support it because they are stupid.

Yep, that’s it and it is amazing how many of those who are stupid enough to follow them have very high IQ scores. Triple digit IQ and stupidity are definitely NOT mutually exclusive.

I like to quote Ronald Reagan on this point.

"The Problem with our opponents is not that they are ignorant.... it's that they know so much which isn't so."
