I suspect right there is why nothing serious will come of this. Too many senior GOP Congress critters were involved in this fiasco. They want the whole thing buried.
We will get a clown show today that will tell us nothing of substance.
Wouldn’t it be a hoot if they tossed one of their own under the bus for smoothing things over in Congress. That would make it a whole different ball game.
If they wanted the truth, it would be in private, like a legal proceeding, not in public like a circus.
