PAUL RYAN: JOB OF U.S. LAWMAKER IS TO PUT YOURSELF IN SHOES OF FOREIGN CITIZENS
Breitbart ^ | October 20, 2015 | by Julia Hahn

Posted on 10/20/2015 4:25:30 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

As the donor class continues to push for a Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)58% Speakership, conservative activists have renewed their scrutiny of Ryan’s support for a radical Republican policy of open borders. Breitbart News has discovered yet another little-noticed video in which Ryan articulates his commitment to immigration policies that would dissolve America’s sovereignty.

The video, uploaded by the Journal Times, shows Ryan at a July 2013 bilingual Hispanic Listening Session in Racine, Wisconsin. At the meeting, Paul Ryan told a predominantly Hispanic audience that the job of a U.S. lawmaker is to put oneself in the shoes of foreign nationals who want to come to the United States, then work to discover solutions to make their lives better.

The Journal Times notes that the purpose of the meeting was for Ryan to “explai[n] to them his motives” for pushing to enact Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% ’s amnesty and mass immigration agenda in the House of Representatives.

First I’d heard of this.

So, is this just detestable pandering or are you really betraying your oath the U.S. Constitution, Mr. Ryan?

Boehner was on w/ Brett Baier and stated that he thought Ryan would announce in the next day or so that he was in and if so, he’d have the votes to be Speaker and he sounded very confident.

I’ve never been so sick to my stomach that this might happen. Sending prayers that it WON’T!!!

All the wrong people will be smiling if Ryan becomes speaker.

Just like when the car salesman is smiling, you can be certain you didn’t get a good deal from him. You just got outmaneuvered and lost.

Okay, Paul. Who are the lawmakers that will put themselves in the shoes of AMERICANS?

FUPR.

I gave him one more chance after his effing TARP vote. He blew it shortly thereafter.

He is a Romenybot on top of it all. He sold out long ago to be part of the RINO/GOPe “leadership” apparatchik.

Coup de grâce for the Republican Party. Its kind of a relief in a way. Maybe the tree of liberty can grow from the ashes.

It will be hard to stop amnesty if Paul Ryan is speaker.

Boehner was on with Brett Baier and then the panel also discussed the SOTH.

Boehner said he fully expects to depart on time at the end of October!

It sounded like Paul Ryan will relent and take the SOTH position, provided he is assured of receiving more than the minimum number of votes.

How wonderful and gracious of him.

Ryan only cares about his bottom line. Once Amerika goes up in flames I’m sure he and his family have a one way ticket somewhere safe, north of Saskatchewan.

I'm sure Soros has a nice spot for him in Elysium, away from all the smelly commoners.

“Paul Ryan told a predominantly Hispanic audience that the job of a U.S. lawmaker is to put oneself in the shoes of foreign nationals who want to come to the United States, then work to discover solutions to make their lives better. “

Folks, the nest time some liberal apologist tells you that the dem is worse, that principles don’t matter, and that lesser evil is a good idea, remember that some of us tried warning voters about that. And next time, listen. Because this evil POS and a man infinitely more evil damn near ended up representing you to the world in the name of ‘conservatism’.

We should come up with a government group that actually brings the concerns and desires of American citizens to the fore. We could call it, oh, I don’t know, the House of Representatives, maybe? Seems strange no one’s thought of it until now...

Ryan either swore in to protect and defend a different Constitution or he is on the wacky-weed.

The purpose of legislators is the REPRESENT THE DISTRICTS THAT ELECTED THEM.

I carried a lot of water for Ryan when his goal was entitlement reform.

I dropped the buckets when he went full idiot on immigration.

Open borders? Why not just eliminate or outlaw fences, cages, prisons and oh yes the door, so there are no boundaries and everyone can have their space invaded by whoever wants to invade their space. Open borders are ridiculous. What’s next? “Mr. Obama take that fence around the White House down? Oh and remove all the doors on and in the White House, so the roaming hoards can freely enter, after all it’s open borders. No borders means no boundaries and that includes fences and doors.” Ridiculous. Fences and doors are borders we put up to protect ourselves and our families, and just like borders are boundaries put in place to keep our homeland’s residents safe.

If Ryan gets the Speaker position, it will demonstrate how corrupt the system is and to what extent the GOPe controls the party. Ryan is not a conservative and never was.

My greatest fear with Ryan is that he will take actions that will undermine the candidacy of the outsiders like Trump, Carson, and Cruz. The GOPe likes to take issues away by letting the Dems win. They welcomed the SCOTUS rulings on gay marriage and Obamacare. For them, it is taking the issue off of the table. Look for Ryan to push something thru on immigration and trade that will undercut Trump.
