Cook the fries in beef tallow and people will come back.

It’s as simple as that.

Agree. I stopped going there sometimes in 1990s as I recall, when they switched to the fake vegetable oil tallow for the fries (can't stand the taste of that fake tallow flavoring). They were completely ruined, at least for me. While I can make burgers at home that are way better than McD's burgers (better quality meet, flavorings), I could never make fries at home that were as good as their original ones.

Exactly !

I haven’t eaten their fries in years because of that change.

They used to be incredible.

Also, the rules about cooking burgers until they are tasteless hockey pucks. Yes, I know: salmonella. I cook cheap hamburger at home and eat it barely seared. I’m 72 and have NEVER had food poisoning except once from a tepid Korean buffet line.

Also, the prices are out of line for the product. If I’m going to be charged as much as a sit down leisure food restaurant, I’ll just go to the leisure food place.

It isn’t just McDs. ALL the fast food burger joints are tasteless and too expensive. All because of government regulations and pandering to idiots.
