Donald Trump is not letting Americans forget that the 9/11 terrorist attacks happened under former President George W. Bush.
Trump’s relentless attacks on the issue come as he battles former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.), George W. Bush’s brother, for the GOP’s presidential nomination in 2016.
“Interesting reading re: September 11th,” he tweeted Monday afternoon, referencing a New York Times story titled “The Bush White House was Deaf to 9/11 Warnings.” “Jeb is fighting to defend a catastrophic event,” Trump said of Jeb Bush in a separate post.
“I am fighting to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he added. "Jeb is too soft – we need tougher & sharper.”

Yep. One issue on which Trump manages to go silent is criticism of the administration of his very close friend Bill Clinton, during which the groundwork for 9/11 was laid.
Agree.... what this country needs is a president who isn’t interested in re-election. Someone who will come in and unwind all of the Obammy cr*& right off the bat. Who doesn’t care about the mainstream media and the attacks that will come his way. Someone who just does what is right and needs to be done to get this country back to some sort of normality. Then if he gets re-elected that’s a plus. But you do what has to be done in the first 3 or 4 months, and spend the next 3 1/2 years governing and letting the media move on.

Osama bin Laden had been telling everyone he intended to attack the US again yet the week of March 20, 1999 the Clintons climbed in to bed with al Qaeda allies the KLA and began bombing the crap out of the Serbs in Kosovo.
The same week of March 20, 1999 at least 15 people contacted an AP reporter and told her the Clintons had plans to orchestrate massive race riots in every city of the US based on a series of stories she was reporting on.
I know about there being at least 15 because I was number 15.
At least 2 of the 15 let the AP reporter know the race riots would be followed by a terrorist attack, Weather Underground playbook.
Again I know of at least 2 because I was the second.
AP immediately stopped running the series and there were no race riots.
The Clintons then started ginning up the possibility of civil unrest with the Y2K bug.
A terrorist attack, which became known as the millennium bombing, was stopped by shear luck.
The big question.
Why would al Qaeda make plans and attempt to bomb the US after Clinton had just helped their allies the KLA?
That entire piece has been circulated widely. It’s too depressing to see how many very smart people believed every word. Seeds are planted and suddenly the right is agreeing with leftist talking points.
I do firmly believe Trump will do whatever it takes as much as he can as fast as he can to get this country straightened out. I also believe getting reelected won’t be one of his concerns.
I just pray there is a country left to fix when he is elected.

Chris Matthews is having orgasms over on MSNBC over Trump’s statements. He started off his show by stating that Trump is pointing out that W did not keep America safe. That 9/11 was all Bush’s fault, and that Trump is pointing out that the maniacs over a MSNBC have been right all along, just ask Trump.

That's as may be, but when Bernie Sanders or Al Sharpton or Rachel Maddow talk about 9/11 happening on Bush's watch, you would not see two-thirds of Free Republic tripping all over their tongues to cheer them on like they do when the Blessed Donald says it.

After the fact made sense... it wouldn't have made sense to react that way the second some agency dude send in a report saying "guess what, terrorists want to kill the USA". You need a little something to go on.

The Clintons had what was referred to as a 20 year plan.
B Clinton would be President 8 years, 4 years for someone else as president, then Hillary would be President for 8 years.
Not only would the Clintons have to make sure Gore didn’t get elected they would have to come up with a plan to bring down the next president.
After the 2004 election Osama bin Laden released a statement about the election lamenting the fact not only was Bush not removed as president but he was reelected.
In short the objective of the 9/11 attack was to bring down the president.

Why would Osama bin Laden plan such a grand scale attack as 9/11 with the simple objective of bringing down the next president of the US when he wouldn’t have any way of knowing who the next president was going to be when he began planning the attack?
If the objective of the 9/11 attack was to bring down the president then there would be another president to take their place.
