I think the uniparty bosses took a look at the Trump vs. Hillary numbers and decided she couldn’t take any more hits.
But, as far as I know .. the “Speaker of the House” is the only person who can tell Gowdy to shut it down. And .. it didn’t get shut down .. Gowdy just wasn’t there.
This is very strange.
Maybe Gowdy has changed his mind and decided to take the Speakership after all .. but his not showing up for this meeting isn’t a good sign for that either.
Or, maybe there is something else going on over at the FBI and they are getting ready to expose some more information ..?? Don’t know .. but I’m suspicious.
Saw another thread here which said FBI is looking at the Espionage Act, Section 793(f). Haven’t looked it up, but I will .. later.
Maybe Gowdy has new info .. and didn’t feel Huma would give him any old info he could use anyway.
