An Atlanta radio host who told listeners that he had interviewed Donald Trump this week has admitted that he repackaged an old interview, and been suspended from the air.
Steve McCoy, a morning radio host at Atlanta station News Radio 106.7, originally told BuzzFeed News and his listeners on Tuesday when the interview aired that the it occurred on Monday, and as a precondition for the interview, he couldnt ask Trump about his policies.
On Wednesday, a lawyer for the Trump campaign denied the interview took place, and told BuzzFeed News that McCoy admitted to them that he had repackaged an old interview.

He thought no one would notice? Really?
Trump keeps on winning...ping.
“Fake but real”.
To be honest, I think Trump mostly recycles his own material. I don’t listen to him very often for that reason.
Not that I don’t like what he’s saying. I just know most of it because he’s already said it.
What a putz this radio guy is.
Lol, though...he thought he could get away with profiting off of Trump, as well.
Accurate but false.
Those that refuse to read history are doomed to repeat it.
Poor Steve McCoy, too far down on the food chain to have his story last even 24 hours.
Paging Dan Rather.
How did he possibly think he’d get away with this? Why did he feel the need? There’s nothing wrong with saying “this is an interview I did with Donald Trump back in the year...blah blah.” Damn these people are stupid.
Was it negative?
I’ve listened to McCoy as a kid growing up in the 80’s/90’s.
He’s a balless, leftist POS.
All a lie.
Mediacrats get away with far more than that most of the time. It's a cocoon.
Hell, Global Warming, the second biggest hoax ever perpetrated (first being Islam), plays out daily, totally in the open.
I know that...that was not my point. My point was, did the interview make Trump look bad? Good? Neither? Just wondering.
And my other point...how did this moron think he was going to skate past this?
I wonder what slant he placed on the repackaged interview. /rhetorical

LOL!, yeah, that's what he did, repackaged and repeated his own history of the interview.
Thank God America is awakening.
being a fraud is obviously in his DNA so Trump should sue him just to teach him him what to expect in to future.
Looks like 60 Minuets has a new employee.
Atlanta radio host Steve McCoy says he has Parkinsons disease.

Guess his Trump impersonator wanted too much money.
