Oh come one...a book tour for a book written as a campaign book IS campaigning.
This article is silly.
I hate to say it but I have not noticed that Carson has not had any campaign events since Oct 2.
Isn’t a book tour promoting his book on his vision for America a type of campaign event?
You know what? I haven’t noticed either.
I think he had one here in Atlanta on Oct 3rd, the same day Trump was here. That may be why it was swept under the rug.
I fail to see the excitement in him anyways. But still I wouldn’t like my candidate to do that out of the blue. Stability is a trait I want. Unless you got a dam good reason.
Isnt a book tour promoting his book on his vision for America a type of campaign event?

I’m not sure about that though. Isn’t this is similar to what McCain did? You know the media is going to make a stink about this. It doesn’t look good.
Holy GOPE bullsh*t, Batman!
Kasich? Why?
Kasich? Why Kasich? ... when we have Christie and/or Bush ? Dripping sarcasm off
Shirley has a RINO problem.
Second, coming right after news that he's spending about 75% of his funds on fundraising, it's a mystery to me how he is even in the race at this time.
horse hocky
there can be a lull in the normal routine.
Selling books is meeting and greeting and spreading the gospel
he might impress A such that she insists C and D go meet the man and get the book
Face Book can produce a long line of such motivated folks very
quickly. it is effective retail politics
the bad guys are trying to influence the gullible
Any candidate that causes the media to throw a hissy fit wins points in my book.
For the same reason why I would be more inclined to fly an airline which has the most lawsuits from CAIR.
That’s what I’m thinking....a redirection not a suspension.
If it was next October, I’d be questioning it.
In other words, his publisher is paying for his campaign appearances for the next 2 weeks.
This guy is reading waaay too much into this. Elections are over 4 months away, There’s nothing wrong with Carson selling books for a couple weeks and meeting people around the country which is the same as campaigning.

The book explains Carson’s ideas.. it’s important. If a few journalists read the thing they woudn’t have to ask him such stupid questions.
Trump went out of his way to praise Carson and Kasich in some of his recent speeches/interviews. Inparticular, it was unusual to hear him talk about Kasich since his name is not coming up naturally as much as Carson’s is.
Trump wants only to win. Most of his positions have been shifted in recent years to be more in line with what either the general public or the primary voters generally like according to polls. He is not going to pick a V.P. candidate because of that candidate’s ideology or if that person could be useful in his administration. He is going to pick the candidate on pure electoral strategy. He himself earlier this year brought up how a good V.P. candidate would help him electorally when discussing potential V.P. picks. Which is why you can bank on the fact that his V.P. will either be a non-white-male or someone from Ohio or Florida.
