It seems like a hardware-intense form of entertainment.
Since they mentioned swimming, I assume some sort of pool or tank is required, and likely transparent to view the performance. Not exactly an easy thing to use for other purposes between shows.
I’m just not feelin’ it, but I guess variety makes the world go ‘round.
Most of the time the pool comes from the site, I know of some that have portable tanks ala the fair shark show (probably actually acquired from a failed shark show actually). But yeah not much to do with that when the mermaid isn’t there. And of course chlorine eats everything, so all the clothes have a very limited life expectancy. But it is kind of cool some variation of the classic “swim show” coming back.
