He needs to be more assertive in the next debate to continue the rise I’d say. Stay out of the Trump blast zone (which he has been doing) but more assertion when among his rivals. It’s sadly the only thing (or at least most important thing) our voting public responds to: debate bravado.
This isn’t a Yale debate. It’s a bare knuckle fight.

They are going to build him up, then they are going to take him down. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
We might want Trump, but we NEED Cruz.
