I saw that disgusting commercial last night. Campbell's Soup was already on my banned list of LGBT supporters (holler if you want the list). A "real reflection of the American family in the contemporary United States" my aunt fanny. Never, will there ever be any Campbell's product in this house.
Campbell's products sold in the US include:
HT McDoogals restaurant chain
Simply Home Soups
Wolfgang Puck Soups
Pace Salsa
Pepperidge Farms
Prego
Swanson
V-8 Juice
The former boiler house of the brewery in Bolthouse Farms
Franco-American
Plum Baby
Raguletto
StockPot Soups (Everett WA, US)

They will now be boycotted.
What about progresso soup? I think their name might indicate their political leanings, but not sure.

I didn’t know they owned Pepperidge Farms.
I like their oatmeal bread.
Doesn’t Campbell’s realize that gay parents are a minute portion of the American family? Why cater to them?

I see it as a situation of our neighbors being deluded. It is a mouse-that-roared situation; the set of people who are going to actually like this kind of theme number down in the noise. In the meantime, do Christians provide before the world a reason to be seen as anything more than ostracizers? As a picture of a Christ who says welcome and be healed?
Maybe there is a niche for the positively Christian business model here. Beyond even nice servants as in Chik-Fil-A. One that tries to bring attention to holy and wholesome motifs.

a real reflection of the American family in the contemporary United States. And just what percentage of todays American families are made up of gay male couples raising children?
Just going to throw a guess out there as being <.05%.
And most those would be the ones who would cringe at the thought of canned soup

I remember over 60 years ago, I used to ask Mother to buy Campbell’s vegetable beef soup. I liked it and still do.
I guess it is a little late to start boycotting it but I will buy no more.

There’s way too much salt in their soup anyways.
Hate to give up Pace salsa. Love the big jugs it comes in.
But I will not support the sexually perverse.

creating a real reflection of the American family in the contemporary United States.Really? 1.5% of the population suffers from homosexuality. Even if 50% of those, which is ridiculously high, are engaged in a pseudo marriage, and raising someone's kids, the percentage of these arrangements would not even register. Tell me again how they are reflecting "contemporary" families?

Liberals may have to do a little research to follow this point, but gay "parents" do not have kids except by adoption. Less than 10% of the gay 2% of all couples that live together actually have kids - one in 500 to one in 1,000 households with children. This is a political agenda and not something that reflects America.
Campbell's Soup belongs in Andy Warhol's art, but not in any home with children.

I can’t wait for that heartwarming Campbells commercial showing a father and son out on a hunting trip sharing a can of soup while cleaning their weapons. Surely, that represents a much higher reflection of american life, no?
