We were there with friends. It was packed to the gills and about 90 degrees. We were pretty close about 100 ft from the stage. People were standing out in the front parking lot that couldn’t get in. They had a southern rock band that was great. They were playing before Trump came out. When he took the stage it was pandemonium.
There were a lot of young people there which did my heart good and a good many Blacks.
Trump mocked the press and dared them to pan the room. Of course they won’t. They don’t want the country to see how crowded it really is. I mean wall to wall.
We went around the side of the building afterward where the Trump fleet was parked and waited for him to come out the side door. He was so accessible signing autographs and taking pics and shaking hands. I thought the security was woefully lacking. Nobody in their right mind would do this for fun or ego. He’s the real meal deal.
Please Donald, please be careful. You are making very dangerous enemies.
As for Trump's security, I believe he has the best that money can buy. If your security is doing a really good job, you should hardly notice them. Obviously Trump surrounds himself with 2-3 "body men" at all times but I'm sure there are others involved that are less conspicuous, who are vetting every person that walks into these events and also combing through the entire venue ahead of time. I don't think much is being left to chance here.
Will be interesting to see when Trump officially gets Secret Service protection - wonder if he will combine them with what he already has in place.
