"Is it too much to ask for the Republican Party to grow a set?!"
On his radio show yesterday, Mark The Great One Levin said that Republicans have to grow a set and go after the imperial president, also known as President Barack Obama. He said this in response to a question from a listener who wondered whether it was time for Republicans to throw around the I-word: impeachment.

A little late in the game for that.
My thinking as well.
eeek! Thanks humblegunner.
Mark seems to have changed his tune. He used to make fun of people who suggested that Obama should be impeached. In fact, he used to cut people off when they called in to even suggest it.
Not going to happen.
“I” investigations during the election year and probable months in the Senate, even if the House votes yea?
Media and the Dems would pound the Republicans into the ground next year. They would relish the optics of the Republicans doing this for political purposes. Obama ran against Bush and it worked twice. Imaging the whole Democratic party being able to run against the Republicans on such an obviously partisan issue. The Pubbies could lose the Senate and the presidency.
Even the Party of Stupid isn’t THAT stupid [I hope].
Vacate the Speakership and the Pesidency.. It’s a start.
Waste of time. The public is too stupid to understand what the impeachment would be about. Waste of energy. Just get a Republican elected.
Without doubting the validity of that assertion, doesn't it imply that a Demonrat president could never be impeached, let alone removed, for fear of such results?
The thought of impeachment is satisfying but 4 or 5 years too late. The Republican “leaders” lecture us that they can’t do anything because they are one vote or whatever short and Obama will just veto anyways. And they say good Republicans avoid “extremism” by giving Obama whatever he wants - they claim the worst thing in the world is to be controversial.
If we had real leaders at this point I think the best thing would be to just block Obama at every turn and focus on electing real conservatives. Obama can retire to some college as a Marxism Studies professor and he can be rewarded by watching us dismantle socialism.

This country would be better off if we had a Speaker of the House and a Senate Majority Leader with at least normal levels of testosterone. Impeaching the Minister of Snappy Patter would be a waste of time at this point. Let him go into the history books as the pathetic loser that he is, not a victim of whatever.
It’s way... Way... WAY past time to use the “T” word when referring to the various members in the three branches of the federal government.
Maybe too late to impeach Obama, but listen to Newt Gingrich suggest @ 9:53 min mark that the IRS head should be impeached (and other suggestions in the video).

How would the former House speaker rally current Congress?

As always, follow the money.
Conservatives should vote for no one as Speaker who cannot answer affirmatively that
1 do you think Obama’s announced gun control measures by executive action is unconstitutional?
2. Will you immediately instigate impeachment against him if he does do it?

I agree with Mark. If ever a so called president deserved to be impeached, it is now. His shyster “lawyers” will tell him to use his pen and phone to “veto” his impeachment but at least our grandchildren and their grandchildren will know we tried.
