The Russians aren’t flying Mig-29’s in Syria.
They have 12 Su-24’s, 12 Su-25’s and four Su-30SM’s jets at Humaymim since 21 September. A few Su-34’s came in on 1 October.
The Russians use the Mig-29 for training only, back in Russia.
Syria has a number of them that could have been shot down.
You might have something there.

Turkey should have been kicked out of NATO in 1974 when they invaded Cyprus.

Why is it really bad? Putin blew through Iranian air space yesterday wasn’t it, warning no one and with US planes flying supposedly near Syria to aide the rebels.
Turkey just entertained a Russian jet earlier this week flying in their air space.
This is Putin placing his pilots at risk and Turkey teaching them where to get off, or else.
So Putin has been checkmated. Right?
First, this story is very likely bull.
Second, in a war against Russia, in Turkey, I’d bet on the Turks. 1/2 million men army with fairly modern weapons against a country that got stopped by Ukraine’s outdated weapons.
Oh, and Turkey has about 100 nuclear bombs.
