This weekend, Chick-fil-A made headlines for the throngs of people in New York City waiting to get into its newest--and now largest--restaurant.
Hundreds of people waited in line all night at the corner of 37th Street and Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan for the chance to be one of the first 100 people to win free weekly Chick-fil-A for a year.
The grand opening was also met with protesters, which included the animal and gay rights group "Collectively Free" demonstrating outside the restaurant.
But individuals waiting in line did not seem to pay much mind--they were there for the chicken.
The fast food chain with conservative values continues to bring in record profits, even during a time when many fast-food restaurants are struggling.
And with significantly fewer locations than many of its competitors, and the fact that all of its locations are closed on Sundays, Chick-fil-As success may be nothing short of a fast food miracle. . .

A couple of years ago we stopped at a CFA in NC. Though it was a late lunch, the pace was packed. The place looked new and I asked the lady wiping tables how long it had been open. She said it was 20 years old, but had been remodeled a couple of years ago.
Found out later the table wiper was the wife of the owner.
Love me some CFA!
Doesn’t surprise me. I’ve been to them in both Carolinas, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Utah and California. Same great standard wherever you go.
Their “associates” are friendly, clean, and well mannered.
This company has used some of the original Ray Kroc principles and prospered.
“I want to know how Chick-Fil-A gets all the best workers the fast food industry has to offer”
I dunno..let me take a guess.....maybe they actually exercise some (recently outlawed) AMERICAN and CHRISTIAN VALUES in their hiring and operation? It’s a wonder thay haven’t been shut down by the feds yet......
After all the rave reviews, I just HAD to check their allergen listings....
Oh well, just like every other fast-food place, they load up with soy which leaves me out!
Can someone explain to me WHY almost any prepared food today, and that includes almost all bread stuffs, MUST contain soy?
The store in Parker CO has 4 employees by the car line outside.
Two are taking orders on electronic tablets, two more taking payment.
The window simply hands food out.
the line is very long, but moves along like I’ve never seen before.
If you’re into cooking here’s a Chick-Fil-A recipe without the soy:
