Clemson University issued an apology to students on Thursday after what appears to be a small group of students were offended by an annual Mexican cuisine event put on by university dining services.
Clemson Dinings "Maximum Mexican" night, has become a student favorite over the last several years, and this year was no different, at first.

It IS crazy out there. Totall NUTS. Everybody is offended about something.
yo quero taco bell
Taco = spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce on tortilla
Chalupa = spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce on tortilla
Enchilada = spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce IN tortilla
Burrito = spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce IN tortilla
Fajita = spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce IN tortilla
And so on.
Most real mexicans are astonished at what we call mexican food.
Who knew that burritos were an instrument of oppression of Latino peoples?
People will have to stop going to Pizza Parlors in NYC.
Nearly 50% of them are owned by Mexicans now.
Horrible, the takeover continues unabated.
Students can now look forward to ‘Maximum no cuisine or culture in particular and any similarities to past, present or future cuisines or cultures is purely accidental’ nights.
Next year at the fesiival just serve good ole American cuisine,
grits and grunts!
That’s where I went. Vegas Guns. Paid 50 bucks to shoot the Glock and SCAR.
but saw the M4 and fell in love. Paid another 50 to shoot that one. It was great.
47 and missed out on all that fun all these years.
i was pro 2nd amendment before. But now I know why.
I have been offended by Mexican food many times, but usually after either eating too much of it or eating at Taco Bell. Albuquerque has a couple of wonderful New Mexican style restaurants that I really miss when I want Mexican.
And no “Swedish meatballs” you bigots! ufdah!
The volume has gone up considerably, they are playing for keeps and we argue about who looks the best or makes your heart wiggle
Screw all that, lets get our stuff together and stop acting like spoiled children who really want what We want, which may or not be what is best for the Country at this crucial point in her history. We are a Constitutional Republic and until it is removed and replaced it is THE DOCUMENT FOR ME
From the article - Our culture isn’t a costume and we will not be mocked!
Newly defined, I guess, “Our culture consists of deeply offended whiners with panties severely twisted.”
I would bet that these members of the perpetually offended class are probably students in danger of flunking out - soon.
From the state that gave the world Senator Lindsey Graham comes Senior Associate Vice President Doug Hallenbeck! Nuke the place before it spreads.
This is utterly ridiculous. So every ethnic restaurant offends that culture?? How do you even get logic to stretch that far into disbelief?
What do the politically correct want, in dining, precisely? I don’t even know what they are getting at. Only Mexicans can cook Mexican food? Only Mexicans should eat Mexican food? One should not celebrate Mexican culture by eating Mexican food? What is the rule here they are going for?
If you want a really sweet shooting hand gun, find yourself a S&W Model 19 .357 Magnum with a 6” barrel and fire it single action. The trigger pull is wonderfully light and instantaneous. To make it discharge, it doesn’t take much more than to think about the weapon discharging and, BANG! Naturally, there has to be a fly in the ointment. Here it’s that the Model 19 is no longer being made. Mine was made in 1966; that’s right, 1966.
Raised in NM...love mex food but no more restaurants. I’ll cook at home.
Just wish for once the quiet majority would all post they are offended by this apology and offended that the 2 students were offended in the first place.
es retardado....
How in the world could Mexican food offend someone?
1966. wow.
I have a TON of research to do, including this gun, because i know nothing about them.
But after shooting, I want one or more :)
shooting range in Brooklyn, right over the bridge.
What’s a good site to learn about guns, if you dont mind my asking?
