And epigenetics and proteomics has found that genetic expression can be altered by environmental factors.
For example, Mom’s stress during a famine means sons born in the next year are at greater risk of heart disease and diabetes because the fat-storage genes are ramped up, compared to sons born several years earlier in times of plenty (Danish and Scandinavian studies).
The most likely cause of homosexual tendencies in men (barring lack of females AKA jail and ships) is the mother’s body building a resistance to testosterone and other male hormones, which is why the odds of a man being homosexual rise along with the number of older brothers.
The result of this is that the differences in biochemical exposure to blame for most homosexual men CAUSES genetic differences.

The MAIN environmental factor would be the absence of a Father. A second factor would be a dysfunctional marriage relationship between father and mother.

If there was a “genetic” component for homosexuality it would have been eliminated ions ago thru natural selection.

They’ll make up a lie. About the time they find “life” on Mars, and further catastrophic “evidence” of global warming.

Science is now a culture of liars.

There is not one, it is a choice.

How could gay genes, which are by definition, non propagating, get passed to the next generation, through propagation.

Evolutionists demand that we adhere to the theory of “survival of the fittest.” The “fittest” is the organism that is the most capable of mating and passing its genetics.

How does a genetic code that defines itself by its inability to reproduce, survive? It not only survives but flourishes, invading previously downtrodden neighborhoods and turning them into cute little bungalows with the most beautiful landscaping and remodeling? Mother Nature is amazing.

Desperate times call for desperate study results.

I can’t wait to hear the explanation for how identical twins have different DNA.

> However, the study's authors also say that there is some evidence that environment plays a role in a man's sexual orientation by altering the activity of certain genes

as in a filthy old pedophile like FMD or gay scout leader touching ou in the middle of the night?.../s

This is a nightmare for gay men because we can now prove it is a choice if they fail the gay DNA test.

Interesting. Epigenetics is such a fascinating field. If I were in high school now I’d definitely choose it as my line of study in college.

I am still betting it’s a chemical change in utero caused by exposure to something, possibly plastics of some kind or other chemicals found more and more these days than before.

And again I might remark that I think our brains are in crisis from neurotoxins. There are autism and Alzheimers epidemics. Epidemics of infertility and gender/sex problems. The most sensitive part of animals is the reproductive / sexual / neurological system and ours are being affected strongly by something in our environment. We need to address this crisis or it will only increase.

A new study claims to have located nine parts of the male genetic code that indicate whether a person is heterosexual or homosexual.

Could one of them be the presence of XY chromosomes in their anus?

gay men will be found to lack the queer gene thought to be responsible for the queer behavior that is sexual deviancy.

So, is there a queer gene? Brian Duprey wants to know.

Is there a gangbanger gene? How about a murdering moslem gene?

There cannot be a “gay” gene. It would be eradicated from the species in 2-3 generations.

Once again:
man + man = no procreation
woman + woman = no procreation
Only man + woman = procreation

Those that are genetically “gay” would not procreate and would thus become extinct.

Such a flawed methodology. Find men who are homosexual and then try to shoehorn a genetic pattern which is common to all of them into the pigeonhole.
