I also hear we have close to full employment and no inflation.

Sequestration. While it is prima facie evidence of a basic failure to govern on the part of congress, it does have its beneficial side effects. I’m not a huge fan of Boehner, but he rightly deserves some credit for actually reining in at least some spending from where Obama was heading.

Great, now pay off the National debt...No, they just want to confuse the issue with a 1 year accounting gimmick.

Hope everyone remembers that there have been record Federal Tax revenues the last three years in a row. Most of that comes from those evil rich and evil Corporations.

What entity, besides the federal government, can spend hundreds of billions of dollars more than they take in EVERY YEAR and not be bankrupt?

He’s racked up $9 trillion (or more) debt since he took office. No one seems to mention that.

They’re spending more than ever while claiming the deficit is going down???????
I’m not a mathematician, but I think there’s something wrong with their numbers.

He did the Sequester so of course he gets credit. Of course nobody likes it including himself. He is hilarious but at least our deficit is slowing.

...and well below the record shortfalls of President Barack Obama's first term...which of course were brought on by the trillion dollar "stimulus" package passed that first year - it's easy to make things look like they're improving when you mess them up to begin with - at least the deficit is by now about down to where it was at the highest point during Bush's administration - and he managed to reduce it to 100 billion within four years.....
