After Leader McCarthys announcement, members of the House Republican Conference will not vote today for a new Speaker. As I have said previously, I will serve as Speaker until the House votes to elect a new Speaker. We will announce the date for this election at a later date, and Im confident we will elect a new Speaker in the coming weeks. Our conference will work together to ensure we have the strongest team possible as we continue to focus on the American peoples priorities.

Okay. Probably a little hyperbolic on my part attributing a long run revolt too much to Trump, overnight, but I do believe he is a force that has galvanized more than a few bots for some one or another in the past, and it has caused others to speak up instead of standing around awe struck at some him or her doing all our talking for us. His bombastic style has perhaps unleashed congressional conservatives to get noisy.

I think Tom Delay should be made speaker, the hammer will allow votes of the representitives instead of tabling them all as the dictator bonehead Boehner.
Webster would be good, now the freedom caucas has got to break off from the rinos and be conservatives.
