Spencer Stone, one of the American heroes who stopped a terrorist attack on a French train in August, was stabbed multiple times early Thursday in downtown Sacramento and is in stable condition, the U.S. Air Force confirmed to USA TODAY.
"A1C Spencer Stone has been transported to a local hospital, and is currently being treated for injury," Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Christopher Karns said in an email in Air Force Times.

Do you mean Roseville? Roseburg is the place of last week’s shooting in Oregon.

That MSN site is weird. The lines in the story are about three feet long, and superimposed over the pictures, which are about two feet wide.
No; I meant Roseburg...though I saw it called Rosewater in recent reportage.
Fox was reporting he was stabbed outside a club called Faces. The Sacremento Bee reports hed left a club called Badlands and was waking towards another club when the attack occurred.
Both Faces and Badlands advertise themselves as gay bars, though on Sacramento message boards, they are said to be popular places with straights as well.
Just saw a clip of surveillance video on Inside Edition. They said he was coming to the aid of a friend who was attacked. The video showed a gang of Amish.
Maybe a setup, I don’t know. It won’t be apparent until we get the name and background of the perps. Initial reports make it seem like a bar fight, but we know to dig a little deeper before making conclusions.
