Agreed! What about Trey Gowdy? Has he expressed any interest in the position?
I would like to know if Ted Cruz has offered any suggestions...since he is the de facto leader of the rebellion again Turtle McConnell in the Senate, who would he like to see fulfilling the same role in the House?

The timing of all of this is pretty “interesting” shall we say. In the meanwhile, Boehner is screwing up the works, postponing the election, etc. Mark Steyn currently on the air saying “this does not smell as it should smell” & “parliamentary malodorous”.

But what about Tom McClintock, the U.S. Representative for California’s 4th congressional district? He’s a thoroughbred.
