Just received a call from her husband. Amy is in the hospital with appendicitis. He says she had been in pain for a couple days, then it got real bad last night so they called 911. Apparently it had burst. She's had surgery and is in the ICU now. He says she's doing better tonight and they might move her tomorrow.

Prayers on the way.

I am so worried. Do you have any updates? I got another message from M. but she doesn’t seem to know much about Amy’s condition. Poor thing, she is so worried about her grandma. PrissyMissy needs our prayers too.

Just got back from the hospital. The nurse said she couldn’t give us any specifics as we’re not related, but said Amy’s improving. They still have the tubes in her throat and all the monitors hooked up so they’re keeping her in the ICU for now. They had just sedated her as we arrived and so she slept through most of our visit. But she waved to each of us as we came in and nodded her head a few times as we we’re talking. The nurse said to check-in again tomorrow and maybe they’ll be moving her to a room and then it shouldn’t be long after that until she gets to go home.
