Even here in Texas where unions are weak, taxes are low and Perry/Abbott have created a strong pro-business environment, one look around shows millions suffering here. Food prices have never been higher and gas prices are steadily heading up. During the Reagan years, the state bird was the crane because of so much construction. Now here in North Texas, boarded up storefronts and empty malls are the norm. It's going to be a sad Thanksgiving in the Lone Star State. The suffering is palpable -- thanks to the intruder in the White Hut. Imagine how much worse things will be in socialist third-world cesspools like Massachusetts and California.
