I'm sure Webster would be good, but after looking at Rubio (Fla) and Bush (Fla) I just think Chaffetz from Utah would be a better choice...

Perhaps this is goodness... of the 3, nobody gets to be speaker on the first vote. Conservatives and Rinocrats’s will have to battle it out.

Louie Gohmert backs Webster because he thinks it will help to get more conservatives in committee assignments. Sounds good to me.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/09/28/exclusive-house-speaker-candidate-daniel-webster-details-plan-to-reform-congress-in-100-days-im-the-only-one-promoting-a-principles-driven-process/

This is a really good piece about his ideas. Also, Webster came close to knocking Boehner out before, now I think he’s got his ducks in a row. He announced his intent the same evening Boehner resigned.

Webster did this in Florida, with great success. He says it’s rebuilding the process the House uses. Principle-driven rather than power-driven.

Can’t believe they would even consider McCarthy after proving himself such a fool.

I’m not up on all the House protocol but is there any chance Pelosi can win if we’re divided?

Daniel Webster has been dead since 1852...

...but he’ll STILL be a better Speaker than John Boehner ever dreamed of being....
