The White House confirmed that President Obama was preparing a series of executive actions on gun control to match his recent passion on the issue after the latest mass shooting in Oregon.
“It’s a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing.
Earnest said he would “quibble” with anyone who criticized the president for not voicing any specific gun control proposals during his press conference, asserting that the White House was working behind the scenes for more executive actions on guns.
“I can tell you that they’re not stumped, they’re continuing to review the law that’s on the books and continuing to consult with legal authorities but also others who may have ideas about what steps that can be taken to keep guns out of the hands of criminals,” Earnest said.
He admitted, however that he had no details for what the White House was working on, but asserted that the process was a “scrub” that was “ongoing.”

He could do LOTS of damage like, overload NICS call in center, fire federal employees at NFA branch/NICS, literally send ATF agents to shut down every FFL in the nation in the guise of “ongoing investigation”, etc. Padlocking mom and pop gun shops for a few months would see ALOT of FFLs give them up and cash out (if ATF would let them dispose of inventory with a profit).

The Republicans in Congress are ALL neutralized under threat of blackmail by 0dunga. Blackmail over all the dirt 0dunga has ordered his NSA to dig up via THEIR emails, phone calls, etc.. Unless Congress investigates the weaponization of the NSA by 0dunga, NOTHING GOOD will happen in Congress.

I’m actually heartened by this. i’ve noticed that the discussion of late with regard to gun control has shifted from playing the the political suckers game to more of an “ignore the bastards” mindset.
It will be most interesting to see how the political class tries to implement gun control when everyone can build them at home using a self contained cnc machine.
This all just a dog & pony show for his party. He can executive action all he wants now till the end of time but there’s absolutely nothing he can do to prevent me from owning a firearm.

As things now stand, Obama could leave office and only about half of objective historians would rank him as the worst occupant of our White House ever. Many would still say James Buchanan still wins because of the (first) Civil War. If Obama overreaches on guns, that is likely to give him an undisputed position as the #1 worst in history. I pray that America’s enemies on the far left will back down without crossing that line.

Even IF “everyone” could even afford a CNC machine, your average person most certainly won’t know how to use one. Have you priced a CNC lately? Yeah, I’ve read the articles about that company who is selling a small CNCs specifically for making receivers, but that company would be among the first targets if Barry does decide to go full dictator.
