I can understand why Obama is silent about these atrocities.
But why is the Pope silent? Why is Speaker Boehner silent? And for that matter, has Trump talked in detail about this? What about Cruz?
Has any national figure said anything?

He isn’t. When the first large number of Christians were lined up along a beach front and beheaded and the film put on Youtube, he spoke up and said our “brother” Christians have been killed and he asked for the killing to be stopped. I’m sure he continually prays for Christians to be spared.
