Is the father claiming the son was involved in a conspiracy?

The mods just pulled a posting asking why the media are not showing any pictures of the shooter’s mother. Is that because the photo was deemed fake? Any thoughts?

I hate it when guns drag an innocent to the site they plan a massacre in an effort to mask their ability to be mobile and fire themselves!

Daddies usually have a lot more influence over their sons than do any inanimate objects

just saying...

And of his parenting skills?

I don't think most (99.7%) of fathers who were even slightly involved with their son's lives would be shocked to learn that a son had taken up a shooting sport hobby.

This kid lived with his mother. Why are the stories not with the mother? How is it she did not notice or say anything about his buying up so many guns?

Because the liberal father is doing what most liberals know to do when they are caught in a scandal, they know how to deflect attention. Instead of the media trashing him for being a POS father, instead he blames guns so the media can say “Yeah Yeah he’s right, let’s not blame the daddy”

It’s a bad recording so turned it off.

Of course, blaming the son would equate to the father was at fault for not raising him properly.

The sooner liberalism is outlawed and liberals put in cages, the sooner America returns to being a sane country.

"Shooter's father blames guns – not son – for massacre"

Now we know where the piece of murderous excrement got his demonic nature.

Maybe the old man ought to look in the mirror for answers as to why is son turned out to be a mutant.

I just read this. I was shocked at the purging of information from the internet and the shocking photo shop of the shooter’ picture. Something is very wrong with this cover up. http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/10/02/the-curious-case-of-oregon-shooter-chris-harper-mercer-a-social-media-profile-shaped-modified-and-deleted

And shooter’s father must ask himself...”why should it be hard for my son to get his hands on guns? Any gun(s)?”

Because said father most likely has known for many years that his son was a most anti-social, unstable human being with a long history of mentally disturbing issues, and in the father’s infantile perception, “everybody should have known my son was a nut case, therefore, how could anyone have possibly even considered allowing a gun, yet alone an arsenal of weapons, end up in his hands?”!

That’s my take on it, anyway.

Someone had posted that they thought some of this is being orchestrated and it is beginning to look like that poster is correct. It is becoming obvious that the media is complicit in distorting and/or hiding facts to support the leftist agenda. This problem is FAR larger than people realize.
