It's fascinating, trying to put together the pieces of the puzzle. Both Russia and China have citizens who have joined ISIS in the Middle East. Neither country can afford to have those radicals infiltrate back into their homelands and spread the chaos there.

So it isn't just about the US. It's about them maybe being smarter about how the situation in Syria could destabilize their Muslim populations.
