Why not join Russia and Syria and wipe out ISIS?
Pride and the fact that “our side” isn’t interested in taking out ISIS, we’re fixated on Assad.
I’ve said since the rise of ISIS that we should at least coordinate with Assad to deal with the bigger threat and maybe even get a little leverage against Iran.
With the punk idiot in the WH as not only the President of our country responsible for this mess, he is also the Commander-in-Chief of our military he hates, and hasn’t a clue how to lead.
Under the circumstances with this asshat in charge I see no reason to rush into a war we will most certainly lose many lives due his, and his political party’s ineptitude. Just like Viet Nam.
This isn’t a slam at our military. It’s true Obama has the last word on what to do just like Johnson did, and his words killed thousands of our people.
Join the Kurds and wipe out the Iranian mullahs and ISIS.
Russia is not doing this action for ‘virtuous’ purposes. They are acting for THEIR best interest and that would be keeping Assad in power, preventing a Saudi natural gas pipeline transversing thru Syria to Turkey and on to Western Europe. Russia does not want the breaking of their energy stranglehold to Europe. They will wipe out ALL rebel forces threatening Syria. If ISIS continues to present a Syrian threat from Iraq, the Russians will deal with it. I sincerely doubt that Russia gives a rat’s a— what threat ISIS poses to the US or our allies as long as it doesn’t threaten Russian interests.
If the white hut was serious about fighting ISIS - instead of arming and protecting - they’ve had a couple years to do it.
Putin fights war the old way: fight to win.
We need to stay out of the way.
I wonder, does the white hut now want OUR soldiers on the ground so as to hinder Russia’s ability to defeat bammy’s brothers?
The world, watching Putin, is holding it’s breath - with hope - that ISIS is going to be stopped in it’s headlong goal to establish the Caliphate around the world..
Bammy’s staff must be busy peeling our narcissist off the walls on the O-office.
