This outfit counts 4 or more as a mass shooting. That’s a slow week end in Chicago...

The other 290 were probably all in Chicago...four or more people get shot there several times a week.
They’ve redefined mass-shooting to pump up the numbers.
“The only requirement is that four or more people are shot in a spree or setting, likely without a cooling off period. This may include the gunman himself (because they often suicide by cop or use a gun to kill themselves to escape punishment), or police shootings of civilians around the gunman...”
For example, on Jan 23, 2015, an unknown person shot and wounded 6 people in Boston.

Police said the shooting followed a fight at a party on that apparently moved into the street. Police found the victims on Parker Street at about 11:15 p.m....the shootings may have been gang-related.”

Right there are two “mass shootings” counted toward the total.

With 4 dead and 50 wounded in Chicago last weekend, that might be 13 mass shootings right there. They should have stricter gun laws in Chicago.
I’m just glad that drugs are illegal - just think how much worse the violence would be if we added drugs to the mix.
