President Obama’s shameful, and frankly nauseating, rush to politicize the Oregon shootings — he actually used the word “politicize!” — is easy to understand.
It is all part of the left-wing power-grab strategy of collective guilt.
Normal people think coercive government power should be primarily directed at criminals, so the Left is constantly trying to make the entire population see themselves as criminals. The more collectively guilty we all feel, the more prepared we are to submit to the power of a self-appointed “enlightened” ruling class.
Gun control is not a goal — it is really a means to an end, a vehicle the Left would drive to gain even greater power.

[The Federal Security Services (FSB) is reporting today that an American black-Islamist terror suspect, who yesterday committed an act of mass murder in the State of Oregon (United States), had been included on a list of 87,000 “known/suspected” Islamic terrorists that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) refused last month to accept from the Federation due to its not being “politically viable in the present atmosphere”.
According to this report, the black-Islamist terrorist who committed this act of terror, Chris Harper Mercer, had previously been indentified by electronic intelligence specialists within the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) as being an Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) adherent after he had attempted to gain passage to Syria via Turkey during the first week of September, 2015.
By the Obama regime refusing to accept this terror list from the Federation, this report continues, Mercer was able to accomplish his terror act when yesterday he killed 9 people and wounded 7 others at the Umpqua Community College prior to his being shot and killed by local US police forces.]
The ho’s demand action are trying that “universal background check” crap in Maine.
They’re planning to gather signatures to get their so-called initiative on the ballot next November. It’s predicted to be an uphill fight for them. Of course, Michael Bloomturd is financing this crap.
Meanwhile, Constitutional Carry goes into effect this month, passed by the democrat controlled Maine House and the Republican controlled State Senate and signed by our TEA Party governor, Paul LePage, in July.
No permit is required to carry a concealed firearm on your person or in your vehicle. If you’re pulled over, you are supposed to tell the officer / deputy / state trooper that you have a concealed firearm in your vehicle.
We have had Open Carry here in Maine for many years.
The out-of-state animal rights wackos tried to ban bear hunting (with bait, such as donuts) here in Maine two years ago. The animal rights gang peppered the airways with TV ads meant to sway the public.
Their initiative failed....rejected by the voters.

I would love to see Trump, or whomever, come out and say, “I want to be a better firearms salesman that B. Hussein Obama.”
I suggest a corollary to the following proverb: " Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
That is: "Buy a gun and you are armed today. Learn how to build a gun and you and everyone you care about is armed for a lifetime."
