President Obama’s shameful, and frankly nauseating, rush to politicize the Oregon shootings — he actually used the word “politicize!” — is easy to understand.
It is all part of the left-wing power-grab strategy of collective guilt.
Normal people think coercive government power should be primarily directed at criminals, so the Left is constantly trying to make the entire population see themselves as criminals. The more collectively guilty we all feel, the more prepared we are to submit to the power of a self-appointed “enlightened” ruling class.
Gun control is not a goal — it is really a means to an end, a vehicle the Left would drive to gain even greater power.

After seeing Obama’s hysterical performance, we have decided to replace our older guns with newer, better weapons. That is the best response to his temper tantrums against our Constitution.

We need to change the rino and democrat politicians in every state and in the DC power structure that daily erodes liberties, stifles capitalism, and enslaves Americans to shameless and wicked people who work in the halls and agencies therein and who hate our freedoms and liberties. The Constitution is the only thing that keeps them from enslaving Americans and they work steadily to destroy them even as the communists and Islamic terrorists join hands to destroy all western societies, Israel and America are their chief and chosen enemies. And the facists democrats and their rino familiars are sucking the lifeblood from our veins.
Along with “Sanctuary Cities”, “Gun Free Zones” should be abolished and outlawed everywhere.
The use, care, feeding and grooming of firearms should be taught in ALL schools, just as drivers’ education now is. And certainly this should be given WAY more priority than “sensitivity training” for gender roles.
But then I am not in charge of dictating the school curriculum. Those who are, should be charged with reckless endangerment of our youth for what garbage the kids are now getting.

I believe you are right. He has worked every minute of his terms separating Americans and causing hatred with the illegals, legal Mexicans and blacks against the rest of the nation. He has done a great job. America is in more trouble than imagined.
Yea, background checks are gun control measures and ignore the problems, liberals are mentally ill fascists who love blood and gore for babies and other innocents and hate the fact that a well armed people can defend themselves from such wicked criminals. The government has gone over to evil policies and methods to destroy our Constitution one or two rights at a time. As they cause gungrabbers to disarm the non criminals, criminals and murderers continue to grow in power and influence. Especially in DC.
Interesting. In Arizona, they’ve relaxed many of the gun controls. Even the concealed carry. And earlier this week, they announced (on the local news...I couldn’t believe it) that the murder rate in Maricopa county has dropped to the lowest it has been since the 1960s. (Take into consideration that the population of Phoenix has skyrocketed since the 60s.)

“...Republicans would want to do SOMETHING right for America.” Yeah, you would think. Kinda like a lot of folks thought last (s)election winning control of both houses would be great. Sure hasn’t worked out well. I hear that the demonkkkrats are calling for voters to support only can’tidates who want stricter violations of the 2nd amendment. I say conservatives pony up and only support those that consider the 2nd to written in stone and protected from govt infringements. If ‘they’ want to make that the main focus and ignore the economy, isis/isil/is/, syria, the russkies etc., it should be at their peril.
