Hurricane Joaquin has turned in the opposite direction, so we won’t be hit after all, and thank God for it. The heaviest rain and the highest winds are supposed to come through during the night, and that will be the worst of this tropical system. We’re cautiously optimistic.
All in all, plenty to be thankful for. But I’ll be so glad to see the sun again.
