We just finished watching Obama’s press conference following the mass shooting in Oregon and I have to say… it’s downright chilling. Yes, we’ve heard Obama speak out against gun owners and constitutional rights before, but never have we seen him as bold, emotional and angry.
In the following video you’re going to see a man who deeply resents gun ownership and the 2nd amendment. This is a man in a position of extraordinary power setting the stage for a final battle with the 2nd amendment as his Presidency comes to a close.
This is Obama in full attack mode and yes, he’s coming for your rights. Have absolutely no doubt about that.

On this issue he WILL do exactly what schmuck Schumer did in NY- declare a state of emergency and declare a new law banning guns- He saw Schumer get away with it in NY, and watched as the people of NY sat there and did nothing- and now he is emboldened enough that he will do the same country wide

You know....this “I” syndrome that the President has....wasn’t that bad in the 2008 primary period. He used ‘we’ a good bit. Somewhere, about six months into the Presidency....he tripled up his “I” rate and it became a noticeable thing.
Well, we've already seen that American "farce enlawment" won't arrest presidents committing perjury, IRS commissioners lying to Congress, nor IRS administrators committing multiple felonies. Nor yet Secretaries of State committing multiple obstruction felonies, nor Federal Attorneys-General committing multiple felonies.

So true. I got tired of posting (and all of probably got tired of reading) 'something every day' but it got to be so constant. . I posted it a lot. . There truly is something every day he does to upset the average patriotic American. When in doubt just check Nachum's List for the latest.
And his po'ed demeanor with his anti-2nd Amendment talk today, the haughty disdain, the 'I know better than you' arrogance. . the disgust.

He is setting a trap for himself in this matter. The more attention that is focused on this tragic incident, the more obvious it will be that a religious-cultural reason, no doubt combined with mental illness, created this urge to obliterate innocent people. It will also be obvious that having a “gun-free zone” is about as useful in preventing mass murder as putting signs on highways that say “don’t crash” will be in avoiding traffic accidents. Perhaps a better analogue would be to say let’s remove highway dividers because you could run into them and have an accident (but then people would cross the median and have worse accidents).
No political party or movement is going to overturn the second amendment, and efforts to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally unstable will not work unless definitions of mental illness change to match actual profiles of likely shooters.
If one thing changes as a result of Roseburg, I hope it will be a rethinking of campus security across the country. It would probably be a very good idea to have two or three armed and well-trained security personnel on all campuses. They could no doubt be doing other useful things most of the time, but they should be available and trained for very rapid response. Possibly also there should be some sort of “responsible guardian” policy which allows various possible target locations to permit approved gun owners to have their firearms available. If the perps begin to realize that they won’t get very far before being confronted with equal force, maybe this epidemic will end.
I have to wonder also, with all the NSA type surveillance that is already underway, how come nobody spotted this guy a few hours before he set out? He more or less gave away his intentions in plain sight.
