No, CT is NOT waking up, unfortunately... still as liberal as ever. I'm sure that Ted Cruz ad was paid for by Cruz, or some PAC... and it's just distributed to all "Rush radio stations".

Yes, unfortunately Joe Furey is still here, loud and highly annoying as ever. He's on WTIC 1080 and I think on Fox 61 (I don't watch much of the latter).

WTIC had a great meteorologist (Bob Cox) who either left, or I suspect was fired. He was the best. So now we're stuck with Furey and his VERY strange voice inflections, which is unnecessary. He does not have a voice disability... I think he thinks he's being cute and/or personable. He seriously sounds like a drunken Julia Child.. no exaggeration. Ugh!
