Yes, unfortunately Joe Furey is still here, loud and highly annoying as ever. He's on WTIC 1080 and I think on Fox 61 (I don't watch much of the latter).
WTIC had a great meteorologist (Bob Cox) who either left, or I suspect was fired. He was the best. So now we're stuck with Furey and his VERY strange voice inflections, which is unnecessary. He does not have a voice disability... I think he thinks he's being cute and/or personable. He seriously sounds like a drunken Julia Child.. no exaggeration. Ugh!
Although the recent primaries in the cities were very telling. I sense people have had enough of the CT corruption on that level.
