Marquez's attorney, Steve Cron, argued that his client — a senior in pre-med at UCLA — should be granted bail because he has no prior criminal record. Marquez, the attorney said, is accused of aiding and abetting, not carrying out the killing.

“He is someone who has never been in trouble before,” Cron said.

Just burglary and aiding and abetting a murder, nope, no problemo.

These two traveled from Fresno to LA for a burglary? It's about 200 miles or so one way.

Ah....”dreamers” dreaming of murdering an American female. Their “dream” came true. What a country.

At least one of them had an apartment here. Both were students.

When they reference home in Fresno, it could be his parents home he grew up in. He may also live down here too. That wasn’t clarified. Where the suspect arrested in Fresno went to school... It likely could have been down here.

After committing a high level crime, it wouldn’t be unusual to head away from the region to avoid capture.

Perhaps that will come out over time.

One of the perps was a local. The two perps were old friends. My money is on either a hit on her to keep her quiet, or these two perps were out to rob her supply not knowing she had already been busted.
