I'm sure you're correct, but my point is that ‘pedigree’ is really highly, highly overrated, yet it is one of the entry cards into political success and influence - and gets way too much undue credit. I looked at some statistics, and first-time takers of the bar in DC pass their first exam at a 60-70% rate, and that apparently includes everyone from every school - ABA certified or not.
So why has Hillary been consistently characterized as a ‘genius’ by the pundits, despite the fact that many who graduated from ‘average’ law schools obviously outperformed her? Doesn't make her ‘less’ of a person, or incapable, or a ‘bad’ attorney etc., but it is totally incongruous with the stature she's enjoyed as a ‘brilliant’ person - and clearly doesn't fit well with her ‘look how much I sacrificed for Bill’ b.s.
I don’t disagree with those thoughts.
Sometimes I offer up stats as clarification more than as of a defense. Almost half as many fail as pass. That’s a pretty big slice.
As for Clinton being the smartest woman in the room, that’s mostly self, staff, and party promotion. It’s a false narrative.
Same thing with Bill and Obama. The Left wants the public to think they are the real smart thinkers.
With Bill’s behaviors, Baracks ineptness, and Hillary’s criminality, it’s rather hard to come away with enything other than that these people are seriously challented when it comes to morals and or intelligence.
